Last Year’s Record: 2-8. Herkimer did not score more than 20 points in any regular season game last season, scoring just 58 points all season before almost doubling that total in their cross-over game. However, the Magicians would allow 40 or more points in five games, giving up 324 points total. The Magicians’ only wins would both come to the Waterville Eagles, winning in a forfeit in Week Three and 52-28 in their cross-over game.

Big Games: Herkimer will be traveling in three of their first four games, including a trip to Albany to take on Section II’s Warrensburg. They’ll go in the exact opposite direction the next week, taking on Cato-Meridian before Sandy Creek comes to Herkimer. Then the tough part of Herkimer’s schedule begins when they travel to Bill Bynon Field to take on Dolgeville. Two of their last three will also be away from Herkimer Elementary, taking on Mount Markham and Beaver River to finish out their season.
