UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – On Monday, August 1st, the Utica Comets announced another addition to their 2022-23 roster, team general manager Dan MacKinnon announcing the signing of former Norfolk Admiral Noah Corson to a two-way AHL contract.

Corson played in 57 games for ECHL Norfolk last season, scoring 55 points on 24 goals and 31 assists while leading the team with 162 penalty minutes. He also played two games with the AHL champion Chicago Wolves but did not register a point in those games.

Corson is the son of 19-year NHL-er Shayne Corson, who had 693 points over his career with the Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Dallas Stars, and served as the captain for both the Oilers and Blues in 1994 and 1995.
