CICERO, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The boy’s and girls’ high school soccer seasons are just two weeks from Tuesday, August 16th, and cross country doesn’t have to wait much longer after that to get their season started, the first gun firing just a week later, so with the fall season approaching quickly, soccer and cross country media day took place at Cicero North-Syracuse High School on Tuesday morning.

A majority of Section III teams made the trip to C-NS’ Michael J. Bragman Athletic Complex for the chance to take photos, make TikToks, and talk to some of the area’s media about their expectations going into this season and what some of the games they have circled on their schedules are.

Among schools to attend, it was a strong showing for the Tri-Valley League with New Hartford, Whitesboro, Camden, RFA, Oneida, Notre Dame, And CVA all attending in some capacity. This included last season’s undefeated state champion and Syracuse.com’s Girls Team of the Year, New Hartford soccer, who was represented by Talia Vitullo, third-team All-State defensive center back Biddie Clive, and first-team All-State attack and Syracuse.com Large School Girls Soccer Player of the Year Anna Rayhill.
