Syracuse University Basketball forward Tyler Lydon, a sophomore, has announced on social media his plans to officially enter the 2017 NBA Draft.

It is not known at this time whether Lydon has signed with an agent.

Lydon’s tweet reads:

After much consideration and contemplation with my family, I have decided to enter the 2017 NBA Draft.

I would not have gotten to this point without the help of Coach Boeheim and each of my coaches at Syracuse.

I will forever be grateful for the guidance each of them showed me every day over the last two seasons.

It was a privilege to wear the Orange Uniform alongside my teammates.

I was honored to battle with you all every night. Thanks to all my friends, family, and most importantly, all the ‘Cuse fans for your support! I am very excited about this next step in my career!
