UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — On Monday, October 23, United Elite Krajisnik FC, the MASL 2 affiliate of Utica City FC, announced their schedule for their inaugural season in the league.
The team was named as Utica City FC’s affiliate in early September and will be in the Eastern Division with three other teams: Atletico Orlando, Rochester Lancers 2, and the Baltimore Arsenal, who are the MASL 2 affiliates of the Baltimore Blast. United Elite said in an earlier statement that their home games will be split between the Adirondack Bank Center — where they will be playing doubleheaders with Utica City — and the Utica University Nexus Center, where the MASL just wrapped up their 2023-24 combine and draft.
United Elite will start their MASL 2 schedule on the road with two games in Baltimore, then will stay in Utica for eight straight games, beginning on Saturday, January 6 when they host Atletico Orlando. They will then host each team for two games between January 6 and March 17 before going to the Total Sports Experience in Rochester on March 22 and 23 to play the Lancers.
The only Eastern Division team to not play at home will be Atletico Orlando, as their arena is being rebuilt.
“Knowing the ownership groups of all of these teams, they are all highly competitive and motivated to put a great product on the field, so the East should be a fascinating division to watch,” said M2 Commissioner Chris Economides. “There should be plenty of intense games with all four of these teams, and the two teams left standing will certainly have earned their spot in the playoffs. “
Eight of the 19 teams will advance to the MASL 2 Playoffs, which will begin Thursday, April 4 at Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The full United Elite schedule is below:
