WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – New Hartford boys lacrosse entered Thursday nights Sparrior Cup matchup with Whitesboro with one thing on their mind, taking home the hardware.

That they would do as the Spartans scored 21 goals in the first half while shutting out the Warriors, eventually coasting to a 22-1 victory, retaining the Sparrior Cup for the 8th year in a row.

Notable performances for New Hartford include 13 points for Dan Friedel including 11 assists, 6 points on 3 goals and 3 assists for Sawyer Kramer, 8 points on 6 goals and 2 assists for Mateo Ripa, and a near perfect day at the faceoff circle for Logan Banek going 20-21.
