LeSean McCoy is not done with the nightclub incident in Philadelphia.
The Pennsylvania attorney general will review the DA’s decision not to press charges against McCoy or any of his associates, according to report from CBS 3 in Philly on Saturday.
Fraternal Order of Police President John McNesby requested the review. Police were unhappy charges weren’t filed after a nightclub fight in February sent two off-duty officers to the hospital.
“I think it’s completely accurate to say McCoy and anyone else allegedly involved in this incident are not totally cleared,” said state solicitor general Bruce Castor.
However, Castor also added it’s rare that the attorney general’s office would overturn a district attorney decision. Such a reversal would require overwhelming evidence.
There’s no time frame on when the attorney general would render a decision.
