UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — The Utica Comets announced on Wednesday, September 20 that they have signed forward Jace Isley to a two-way AHL contract.
The Grand Prairie, Alberta native has spent the last five years with the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League. In those five seasons, Isley scored 52 goals and 51 assists. He has been in the top five of Red Deer goal scorers each of the last two years. He also led the team to back-to-back playoff appearances.
The 2022-23 season was Isley’s best, in which he was second on the team in goals (30), sixth in assists (26) and third in points (56). He also led the team in plus-minus (+26).
