HAMILTON, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – After winning the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for the second year in a row in 2021, the Colgate women’s ice hockey team will return to the ice with some confidence after coming in first place in the ECAC Preseason Coaches Poll and receiving the most first-place votes of any team.
The Raiders also received a top-10 designation in the national preseason poll, coming in at sixth in the country, the highest ranked of the 7 ECAC schools that were in the national top-15.
Colgate gets their season started with an exhibition game on September 18th and then plays their first regular season game at home against Syracuse University on the 24th, where they will raise their ECAC Champions banner.
