Olli Juolevi’s first season with the Comets has come to an end.

The former fifth overall pick in the draft has undergone knee surgery that will knock him out of action for approximately six months, the Canucks announced.  Juolevi is expected to be ready for training camp next year.

He’s been out of action since Nov. 17 with what was originally thought to be a minor injury.  In 18 games, Juolevi scored one goal and had 12 assists.
