WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Whitesboro girls lacrosse team entered their season finale against the RFA Black Knights looking to pick up a win over a TVL opponent that had bested them already once before this season but fell short, a strong RFA first half leading them to a 13-3 win over the Warriors.

Alexandra Tapia had four goals for the Black Knights to lead all scorers, while Gianna Parise was the leader for the Warriors, scoring all three of Whitesboro’s goals.

Sectional seeding is set to take place tomorrow night with games beginning shortly after, RFA is in a strong position to make a run in Class A, while Whitesboro fights for positioning in Class B.

With the win, RFA moves to 12-3 overall on the year while Whitesboro falls to 6-9.
