CLINTON, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Clinton and New Hartford both entered Tuesday’s contest at .500 on the year, both 7-7 but the Spartans tacking on an extra tie that came in early December against RFA. New Hartford won the previous matchup between the sides 4-2, but Clinton had gone 6-4 in the time since that game and was looking for payback. That they got, sending the game to overtime before junior Aiden Soika ripped a blue-line slapshot past the New Hartford defense for the extra time winner, 6-5.
