UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Proctor and Notre Dame boys’ basketball teams were both looking for wins to get closer to .500 on Friday night, the Jugglers going to Proctor High School with a 3-6 overall record while the hosts were one game better, 3-5 on the year.

A nine-point game at halftime, Proctor’s defense stepped up coming out of the break helping them to a 16-2 to start the third quarter and a 69-35 win. The Raiders kept the Jugglers to single digits in both the third and fourth, allowing just 12 points in the half.

Proctor has another Tri-Valley League opponent on the docket in their next game, Holland Patent on Tuesday the 17th, while Notre Dame goes out of Section III on Saturday, playing Catholic Central at home.
