NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The New Hartford girls’ basketball team had struggled against Christian Brothers Academy in the regular season, scoring just 10 second half points on February 7th and failing to have a single player reach double figures. The Spartans got another chance at the Brothers on Tuesday night but weren’t able to defeat the Syracuse-area squad in the Class A Quarterfinals, losing 61-34 to finish the year.

Danielle Lucas led the scoring for the Spartans with eight, while Tara Fobre came in second in that category with seven.
