WATERVILLE, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – After a slow first half, Waterville and Cooperstown boys soccer exploded for six goals in half number two, three of them scored by Cooperstown senior Colby Diamond, as the Hawkeyes defeated the Indians for the second time this season, 4-2.

The two state-ranked teams opened their respective seasons against one another on September 9th, with Cooperstown winning that game 3-2. They then went 6-1-2 in the time since and worked their way up to a number 4 ranking in the state in Class C, while Waterville had not lost a game, the victors in 7 in a row after the season-opening loss on their way to a number 19 ranking in the state.
