HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – On Tuesday night Camden and Holland Patent went up against one another in a Tri-Valley League girls’ volleyball match, the 7-6 Blue Devils and 2-10 Golden Knights yet to play in the 2022-23 season.
With Camden’s offense rolling from the start, they found an easy first set win by a score of 25-9. Holland Patent’s defense stepped up in the second and third sets though, the Golden Knights even holding a 20-19 lead in set number two before a Camden comeback and 25-20 win. The final set finished in extra points, H-P pushing Camden to the limit but ultimately falling 26-24.
Leah Runion led the victors defensively with 7 digs, and on the offensive side Brooke Musch had 9 kills and Hailey Gladle had 5. Four different Blue Devils had 4 aces.
