It only took Kaia Henderson until the first home game of her freshman year to make school history.
She broke New Hartford’s single-game record for most points with 41 on Wednesday night against Henninger, who finished with 44 points as a team. Henderson also had 11 rebounds, six steals and three assists.
The previous mark of 35 points was set by Amanda Cavo all the way back in 2004.
Thanks to their 63-44 victory, New Hartford is now 2-0 on the season. The Spartans will return to action on Tuesday night against Notre Dame.
