LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Mohawk Valley DiamondDawg Garrett Musey was named the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League Player of the Week for league week three, going 9-17 and hitting four home runs in five games to drive in 15 runners.

Musey is currently leading the league in home runs total with five and sits in second place in RBI with 17. His hot streak has helped the DiamondDawgs to a 7-7 record, good for fourth out of eight teams in the league’s East division.

The Millville, New Jersey native and attendee of Goldey-Beacom college has been named all-conference in both years he has been in school, and currently ranks third in Lightning history in career batting average, tied for second in home runs with 21, and third in putouts with 437.

The DiamondDawgs next play at home Thursday, June 23rd against the Utica Blue Sox.
