Cooperstown baseball headed back to sectional finals

Cooperstown baseball is going to the Section III Class C Finals for the second time in the last three years.

The Hawkeyes walked off to beat Beaver River 4-3 on Thursday afternoon at Murnane Field on a Ryan Lansing bunt.

The last time Cooperstown made it this far was in 2017, when they made it all the way to the Class C Final Four.

The Hawkeyes will take on Oriskany, who beat Thousand Islands 7-1, in the title game on Sunday at 5pm.
