UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Utica Comets had waited 10 days since their last game and 18 days since their last home game before stepping on the ice tonight for the first game of a five game series against the Rochester Americans.

Eyewitness Sports talked to Comets Head Coach Kevin Dineen and forward AJ Greer about that layoff, how they expected to play, and what their expectations were from a Utica “Whiteout” crowd before puck drop on Tuesday night.
