UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Utica Comets and Syracuse Crunch entered Friday night’s contest in a tie for second place in the North Division behind the Toronto Marlies, so in what could be equated to a “four-point game,” there was a lot on the line. Utica went an above-average 1-for-3 on the power play and shut out the Crunch on two separate man-up opportunities to get a 4-3 regulation win and claim sole possession of second place in the North.
