Clinton girls hockey falls short in their season opener.

The Warriors were edged by a final score of 3-1 to Salmon River on Tuesday night at Clinton Arena.

Rylee Garrow got the scoring started in the first period for the Shamrocks.  Eight grader Drew Kopek answered for Clinton later in the period.

Then in the second, Salmon River broke through with a pair of goals to put the Warriors away.

Clinton is back at home on Friday for a matchup with Plattsburgh at 4pm.
