Poland and Sauquoit boys soccer are moving on to the sectional finals.

The Tornadoes stunned No. 1 Bishop Ludden on Thursday night coming away with the 3-0 win.  Dale Lepper got the scoring started with a goal off a free kick in the opening minute and then Kade Ozog put the game away with a pair of goals in the last five minutes of regulation.

Poland is now headed to the Section III Class D title game where they’ll face Lyme on Monday at 5pm from Lowville.

It was history for Sauquoit against Frankfort-Schuyler.

The Indians advance to their first ever sectional finals after holding off the Maroon Knights 1-0.  Kevin Griffith’s goal in the 29th minute propelled Sauquoit who will face Beaver River in the Section III Class C title game on Monday, which will also be played in Lowville.
