Micah Hyde won’t be going to the Pro Bowl.

The Bills safety withdrew from the game on Monday and was replaced by Titans safety Kevin Byard.

Hyde did suffer a concussion in the playoff loss at Jacksonville, though no specific connection between the two events was drawn Monday.

It was to be Hyde’s first Pro Bowl appearance.

The Bills are, for the moment, down to two Pro Bowlers: LeSean McCoy and Richie Incognito.

Eric Wood is the first alternate at center if Pittsburgh’s Maurkice Pouncey or Oakland’s Rodney Hudson elect to withdraw.

Mike Tolbert and Charles Clay were selected as third alternates, but each has already had their status bumped up a notch. The Patriots had a fullback (James Develin) and a tight end (you know who) elected to the Pro Bowl. Both will now withdraw after New England clinched a spot in Super Bowl LII.

The game is Sunday in Orlando.
