After trading down in round one, the Bills moved up in round two.
Buffalo sent the 37th and 149th picks to the Rams in return for the 44th and 91st selections to get Zay Jones.
Jones set FBS records for most receptions in a season and career with 399.
His father, Robert, won three Super bowls with the Cowboys and his uncle is Jeff Blake who played 13 seasons in the NFL.
Buffalo’s coaching staff is very familiar with Jones as his wide receiver coach at East Carolina, Phil McGeoghan, is now the Bills wide receiver coach.
GM Doug Whaley and head coach Sean McDermott weren’t done there as Buffalo moved back in at the end of the second round.
Buffalo sent the 75th, 149th and 156th picks to Atlanta for the 63 selection and used it to grab offensive lineman Dion Dawkins from Temple.
Dawkins is 6’4” 314 pounds and adds immediate depth to the o-line.
The Bills still have a pair of picks in the 5th round and the 12 selection in round six.
