The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for much of Central New York from 1:00PM Monday until 7:00AM Tuesday. The Advisory area includes Oneida, Otsego, Madison, Chenango and Delaware counties.
Northwest winds are expected between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph possible. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Soil saturated by recent snowmelt could result in greater chances of falling trees. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
