It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas on one street in the city of Utica. Volunteers gathered thismorning, setting up for the annual Christmas on Main Street.
Although the event doesn’tofficially kick off until November 17th, coordinators got a head startdecorating. Gene Allen, a volunteer says it will be a great time for thefamily, especially because it doesn’t break the bank.
“I see people now thatwere children coming here that are actually helping us now and volunteering.Everyone looks forward to it and unlike a lot of other venues this one istotally free,” said Volunteer Gene Allen.
The decorations were setup in Baggs Square, right near Union Station, where the Main Street event willbe held.
