Vehicle larcenies in Town of Paris, Sheriff’s Office looking for leads

PARIS, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance after several vehicle larcenies took place in the Town of Paris.

On the morning of Tuesday October 12th, the OCSD and New York State Police responded to calls about vehicles being broken into at the following locations:

  • Paris Hill Road
  • Leisure Place
  • Care Free Lane
  • Emerald Hill Road
  • Butler Road
  • Oneida Street
  • Orchard Place

Along with the theft that occurred, one of the vehicles involved was then stolen and later recovered in the City of Utica. If you have any information and/or any video footage of the incident, or of suspect(s) involved, you can contact Deputy Citriniti at (315) 765-2294.

The Sheriff’ Office is strongly recommending that you keep your vehicle locked and secured and that you remove all valuable belongings including keys, jewelry, electronic devices, or any other important objects that may tempt a would-be thief to break into your vehicle.
