Utica Police/DEA Drug Take Back Program

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

The Utica Police Department is participating in the DEA National Take Back program. The purpose of The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day initiative is to educate the public about the abuse of medications and to provide a method of disposing them in a safe, convenient, and responsible manner.

The event will held on the following days and locations:

1. Thursday, October 22nd

  • Schuyler Commons from 9am to 1030am
  • Perretta Twin Towers on Second St from 11am – 1230am

2. Saturday, October 24th

  • Utica Police Department lobby from 10am – 2pm
