Unconventional gift giving

If you’re looking for a unique and money saving gift, small businesses may be the place to shop this holiday season for unconventional gifts.

Mary Gearhart, owner of Queen’s Closet for 21 years, says the items brought are, “are just a fraction of the retail cost.”

Part owner of Village Basement, Kate Hoover, adds that consignment shopping makes great unconventional gifts because the items are new or close to it.

Scott and Michelle Havens are music lovers and owners of Reimagine Records, say they have a variety of old and new records on vinyl at a low cost.
