According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol two man are in the Oneida County Correctional Facility on burglary charges after a rash of break ins of homes and vehicles in the Waterville and Oriskany Falls area.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division state that over the past two weeks the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office have received numerous reports of thefts from vehicles and residences in the Village of Waterville and the Village of Oriskany Falls. After an investigation by members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Waterville field office and the Criminal Investigation Division two suspects were developed.
Brandon C. Diehl, age 24 of Broad St. Oriskany Falls, and Henry K. Green, age 18, of Brothertown Rd. Waterville were brought in for questioning and admitted to their involvement in the thefts.
Diehl and Green charged with Burglary in the second degree a class C felony. The two were arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and committed to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility in lieu of thirty thousand dollars cash bail.
The investigation is continuing and more charges are likely.
