UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The City of Utica has announced a Travel Advisory in the city due to road repairs that began on Wednesday, May 3.

Because of these repairs, the City will be closing down Albany Street from Pond Lane to Christensen Street beginning on Wednesday, May 31. Crews will be finishing emergency stormwater repairs as well as repaving that section of the road.

Travelers are advised to take alternate routes during this time period. The road work is expected to take all day on Wednesday, May 31. The roadway is expected to reopen on the morning of Thursday, June 1.
