The Current Process Of Creating A City Budget Once It Reaches Common Council


There is less than a month until the start of the fiscal year, and Common Council is currently going over Mayor Palmieri’s budget for the City of Utica. Financial needs of the city will continue to be discussed at public hearings in order to meet the needs of the city. The Council will meet as a whole to discuss any amendments needed to the budget, and then it will go back to Mayor Palmieri to either uphold or veto the budget.
