SUNY POLY to Welcome Students Back to Campus

SUNY Polytechnic Institute is welcoming students back to campus. This weekend students will be moving in at scheduled times. A daily screening will be given to students in order to keep track of who is on campus at all times.

Course work will begin Monday, February 1st online and starting on Monday, February 8th, in-person classes will resume.

classrooms are set up to be socially distanced and limited density.
the first week of classes, dining halls will be grab and go then the following week students will be able to resume eating inside. There is a range of return to campus protocols that students will have to follow.

“They are participating in a 14 day pre-screening prior to arriving on campus. They are also doing a seven day precautionary quarantine and testing to completion. So we have a number of protocols that I think are going to put us in a position where upon opening for our students with their physical courses on campus, we’re going to be in a really great place.” —Marybeth Lyons, VP of Student Affairs

All students, faculty and staff will be tested weekly.
