China has said that they will purchase less soybeans than in years past from the United States, which has local farmers looking for other options to invest in. The issues for local farmers does not stop there though, as they look towards other avenues of investment, they need to make a decision based around whether or not to plant soybeans. The relationship between local farmers is symbiotic. As for alternatives to avoid the low demand and drop in prices, Richardson Farms doesn’t believe there are many other options.
