The Town of Vernon has once again rejected an application for staging three one day concerts at Vernon Downs, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock festival.
The two, again, sited the missed deadline for submitting an application for an event the size of the proposed August concerts. The new rejection went further in explaining the denial, saying that the new application did not adequately address several key issues of concern.
The Woodstock 50 promoters also filed and appeal on Thursday of the original rejection of an application. The Vernon Town Planning Board will hold a hearing on that appeal on Tuesday, July 16th at 7:00PM at the Town Hall.
