Rep. Brindisi urges White House to approve FEMA disaster funding

On Friday, Congressman Anthony Brindisi (NY-22) visited the White House for a bipartisan meeting with Vice President Mike Pence.

“I had a productive meeting with Vice President Pence and other members of Congress,” Brindisi said. “There are important issues like disaster relief and USMCA that need bipartisan solutions and I was proud to be a part of that discussion. I brought Upstate commonsense and priorities to the White House and I think Washington could use more of this.”

Earlier this month, Brindisi led a bipartisan group of lawmakers to urge President Trump to approve New York’s major disaster declaration.
