We have 141 freshman moving in today they’re picking up their art kits their supplies so they’re really excited about everything going on,” said Ken Marchione, the Interim Dean of PrattMWP.

The college welcomes students from all-over the united states as well as international students from about 14 countries. First-year student Sumann Davenport has moved here from Washington and says that she is excited to enter this new chapter.

“It’s a very new experience I’m completely far away from home I don’t know anybody and its up and down for me,” said Davenport.

Marchione tells us that since students have been taking classes online for the end of their high school career and it will be nice for them to get back to having in-person interactions in the classroom.

“For art which is such a personal experience we’ll have the students back in the studios working with materials with faculty right next to them and the personal interactions with the other students and the other artists I think is going to be just a great energy,” said Marchione.
