Police Looking For Man Accused Of Attacking Ex-Wife With His Car


Victim Taken To Upstate With Severe Injuries

A woman was hit by a car late Saturday morning on the campus of MVCC in Utica. Police are looking for the victim’s ex-husband and believe he was driving the car that hit her. 

According to police, the victim had been walking her dog at MVCC shortly after 11:00AM Saturday morning. She noticed her ex-husband was driving his car at her at a high rate of speed and hit her with his vehicle. The collision pinned the victim between her car and her ex-husband’s. After allegedly making threatening statements toward the victim, the ex-husband fled the scene.

Police are looking for Leslie Paulson, 55 years old, from Frankfort. He was believed to be driving a Toyota Avalon, color gold, with NY License GTG4776. The actual car appears in the photo.

The victim’s identity has not been released by police. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital and later transfer to University Upstate Hospital. Her condition is said to be stable, but with serious injuries.

This was the second incident at MVCC in as many days. Police stressed that the two incidents were unrelated.
