ROME, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Rome Police are asking for the public’s help in figuring out what happened to a 10-month-old child after she was found unresponsive at a local convenience store.
Police were called to the Fastrac on Erie Boulevard West at approximately 9 pm on Saturday, October 28 for a report of an unresponsive child. The 10-month-old female was then transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The cause of death is unknown at this time. The investigation into the child’s death is ongoing.
