Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Gains 20 New Deputies


20 new road patrol deputies took the oath of office on Thursday, March 28th. This is the most diverse group of deputies, and the largest number of hires at a single time for the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. Of those hired include the first deputy born in the Middle East and the first African American Deputy since the 1960s. Eyewitness News reporter Ben Dennis has the story.
