UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Oneida County Sheriffs arrested a Brantingham man after it was found that he stole money and jewelry.
Sheriffs arrested 35-year-old David Schmandt of Brantingham on Tuesday, March 21 after investigating an incident at a New Hartford home. After further investigation, it was found that Schmandt, a contractor’s employee, stole money and jewelry from the house.
Schmandt was charged with third-degree Grand Larceny and third-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, both felonies. He was also charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.
Schmandt was sent to Oneida County CAP Court, where he currently awaits arraignment.
