Notre Dame Junior-Senior High School’s 2012 graduating classhas something to be proud of.

99 percent of its students will be receiving their Regentsdiplomas this Friday and going on to college this fall.

Principal Sister Anna Mae Collins says the class of 59students has also accumulated over $5 million in scholarships and grants.

“We concentrate not only on academics and athletics. But wealso concentrate on community service and making sure our students are wellrounded and those are what colleges are looking to have coming to theirschools. They want students who are aware of the bigger picture,” said PresidentSister Ann Mae Collins.

The commencement speaker will be the honorable BarryDonalty, a 1964 alum.
