New York’s Confirmed Cases Rise almost 100 to 421

Still only one confirmed case in Herkimer County

New York State has almost 100 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus, which now brings the total amount of state cases to 421. The state briefly held the title of most cases in the country before Washington rose to 457 cases earlier today.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the update Friday afternoon, and one tweet included a breakdown of all state counties. As of now, Herkimer County still only has one confirmed case.

There are now four states with triple-digit confirmed cases. California is currently third with 252 cases and Massachusetts in fourth with 108.
