The work of the winter maintenance staff is not just important when it comes to roadway safety. the work of the DOT is especially important when it comes to keeping our economy flowing across New York State.
“Everyday when our staff goes out in the field and plows the road there’s direct impact on the economy. not just the safety of our folks but the economy as a whole. so the work that we do here at the dot as we come out of COVID is critically important as New York state moves forward to the next faze of our economy,” Hennessey added.
