New Restaurant Opening In New Hartford

A new restaurant is opening on Monday, March 1st, in New Hartford. The Mediterranean cuisine is only part of what makes this a unique venture. The style of the restaurant is a combination of trends gaining in popularity in the restaurant industry; customer creation of their meal, healthy food choices and grab and go. This new venture comes from a family well known among local eateries. The Zeina’s operate a popular cafe on Varick Street in Utica. Elias Zeina is the owner and General Manager of Lafa’s Mediterranean by Zeina’s in New Hartford. He spoke with us about the restaurant concept and the challenges of opening a restaurant in the time of a pandemic.
