New Legislation Could Force Companies Out The Door


The Climate Community Protection Act is threatening to push companies, and its employees out of New York. The proposed bill would mean that Greenhouse Gas Emissions would be eliminated by 100% by the year 2050, and  a second proposal would reduce climate pollution by 50% by 2030. The Business Council of New York, Revere Copper Products and the Manufacturers Association of Central New York have all voiced their concerns over the legislation, and would like manufacture leaders to be a part of the conversation surrounding these bills. Eyewitness News reporter Parker Tully explains why.
