UTICA, NY – A weak cold front will slip through Monday night into Tuesday morning which will shift winds to the north and west ushering in some chillier air. There will also be a risk for a few light rain and wet snow showers over higher elevations into Tuesday morning.

Most of Tuesday will feature quite a few clouds, but there should be some breaks of sunshine developing by later in the day. The wind direction will turn more southerly Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will help temperatures recover, with highs into the 50s and perhaps near 60 Friday, before another cold front approaches late Friday.

There should be a good deal of sunshine by Wednesday and Thursday. It will turn breezy at times, but overall pleasant weather. You will want to take advantage of the sunshine and mild November air before another shot of colder weather arrives by the weekend.

Another round of rain arrives through Friday afternoon into Saturday morning as the cold front sweeps through. Rain showers will become isolated through Saturday afternoon with a few weak lake effect rain and/or snow showers around on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the lower half of the 40s, along with a gusty wind over the weekend.
