UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — The Rescue Mission of Utica will be helping out those in need this Thanksgiving by hosting their annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet.
The event will be held on Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, November 23 — from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Mary Tilton Clark Dining Room on Rutger Street. Dine-in or to-go dinners will be served at that time.
If you are homebound and require a delivery, you are asked to call the mission at 315-735-1645 at extension 2100. You can schedule a delivery between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Dinners will be delivered to the homebound by 1 pm.
If you would like to donate food items for the event, the Mission says they are in need of turkeys and pre-packaged pies. Donated food items may be dropped off at their Food Service Building at 201 Rutger Street in the city of Utica any day between 6 am and 5 pm.
For more information on this event or to make a donation, you are asked to visit their website at uticamission.org.
