HERKIMER, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPMY) – The Herkimer County Sheriff’s Officer has reported that a woman from West Winfield has been arrested for fraud.
After an investigation by the Herkimer Welfare Fraud Unit and Herkimer County Department of Social Services, 22-year-old Nyoemi Gallogly was arrested for allegedly receiving more than $2,500 in fraudulent benefits over a four-month period.
She was processed on the following charges:
- Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E Felony)
- Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree (Class E Felony)
- Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree (Class E Felony)
Gallogly was then released with a ticket to appear in front of the Village of Herkimer Court in the future.
